The Revolutionary Goans Party (RGP) is facing internal differences and leadership challenges. A disciplinary committee was appointed to seek explanations from 10 RGP members and post holders whose memberships were suspended.

All 10 members were summoned to meet the Disciplinary Committee on Sunday, August 2nd. In their defense, the members stated that after the Margao meeting, they intended to approach the RGP’s Central Executive Committee (CEC) to voice their concerns. However, before they could do so, they were suspended.

Despite these issues, the summoned members expressed a desire to work under the leadership of Viresh Borkar and reaffirmed their full commitment to the RGP.
