The proposed plan to introduce toll charges on the link road leading to Mopa International Airport has been put on hold for the time being, PWD Minister Digambar Kamat said.

Speaking about the proposed toll collection, Kamat said the government is currently keeping the plan on hold and indicated that toll collection could be introduced from next year.
Meanwhile, Kamat announced that the much-awaited Porvorim–Guirim elevated corridor will be inaugurated on September 10.
The PWD Minister also said that Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari is expected to approve several other major road and infrastructure projects for Goa.
