Reacting to Union Minister Pralhad Joshi’s recent statement on the Mhadei issue, Karnataka environmental activist Capt. Nitin Dhond said the matter cannot be settled through negotiations and must be fought through legal means.

Speaking to Prudent, Dhond said the Mhadei issue would have to be taken forward through the legal route.
He also warned that diverting the waters of the Mhadei would have consequences not only for Goa but also for North Karnataka.
