The Government of Goa has officially declared cancer a Notified Disease under the Goa Public Health Act, 1985. All government & private hospitals, clinics, labs, and oncologists across the state are now required to report newly diagnosed cancer cases to the Directorate of Health Services within 7 to 30 days to build a State Cancer Registry. Patient data will remain confidential
