Several ageing government buildings across Goa, some of which have become structurally unsafe over the years, are set to be relocated to new premises, Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant said. The state government is planning to construct new buildings at suitable locations and shift government offices and other facilities currently operating from old structures. The Chief Minister said the initiative will cover several government buildings, including the Udyog Bhavan, with the aim of providing safer and more suitable infrastructure.
