The Merces JMFC has directed SP Crime Branch Rahul Gupta and SP North Goa Harishchandra Madkaikar to remain present before the court on September 29 in connection with a criminal complaint filed by activist Kashinath Shetye.
Shetye has filed the complaint against Rahul Gupta, Harishchandra Madkaikar, Crime Branch SP Jivba Dalvi and PI Tushar Lotlikar, alleging that they failed to register an FIR on his complaint against the Old Goa Police Station PI and PSI.
The court has directed Gupta and Madkaikar to appear on the next date of hearing. The matter will be taken up on September 29. The allegations form part of Shetye’s complaint and are subject to the court’s proceedings.
