Goa Forward Party (GFP) chief Vijai Sardesai has hinted at the formation of a unified 'Grand Alliance' among opposition parties to challenge the ruling BJP in Goa. Addressing the recent removal of political banners, Sardesai stated that the move was necessary to make way for new hoardings reflecting the public's desire for a united opposition front, which will be put up across the state soon.

Meanwhile, reacting to the development, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Valmiki Naik has called on Vijai Sardesai to clearly declare his position regarding the alliance. Naik emphasized that the opposition coalition needs absolute clarity and explicit commitment from all participating leaders to build an effective political front in Goa.
