Minister and Porvorim MLA Rohan Khaunte said he has spoken to PWD Minister Digambar Kamat to convene an urgent meeting on issues concerning the Porvorim flyover.

Khaunte said Porvorkars had suffered during the construction of the flyover and should now benefit from the project. He further stated that he was not taken into confidence while decisions regarding the flyover were being made.

Meanwhile, Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai criticised the flyover, describing its engineering as “failed.”
