The Goa Horticulture Corporation will sell coconuts to consumers at no profit, no loss during the upcoming Ganesh Chaturthi festival, Corporation Chairman Premendra Shet said.

Shet said the initiative will continue the practice followed last year, with the Corporation stepping in to make coconuts available to consumers at reasonable prices during the festive season.

The move is aimed at providing relief to consumers during Ganesh Chaturthi, when demand for coconuts rises significantly for religious rituals and celebrations.
