Margao MLA Digambar Kamat has said that he has no ambition to become Chief Minister again, stating that he has already held the post and does not want it anymore.

Speaking in an interview at the Porvorim flyover, Kamat said he would himself be the candidate from Margao and not his son. He also said that he left the Congress because he felt insulted and made it clear that he would not remain in a place where there is no respect.

Kamat, who has previously served as Goa Chief Minister, said he has no desire to seek the top post again.
