Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to hold a high-level meeting on Goa-related matters with senior officials of the Ministry of Home Affairs on Sunday.

The meeting is expected to begin at 11 a.m. at a resort near Panaji, where officials from different divisions of the Home Ministry will participate in discussions concerning Goa.

Later in the afternoon, Shah will address the media on narcotics-related issues at the same venue. The press conference is scheduled for 2 p.m.

His Goa engagements will continue on Monday with the Western Zonal Council meeting, which Shah will chair at a venue near Panaji. Members of the council and senior government officials are expected to attend.

Shah will also attend the Goa Police President’s Colours Award Ceremony on Monday afternoon at the Dr Shyama Prasad Mookerjee Indoor Stadium in Taleigao.
