The Goa Congress is set to hold discussions with the Revolutionary Goans Party (RGP) and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) over a possible alliance in the next two days, Goa Pradesh Congress Committee President Girish Chodankar said.
Chodankar said he had attempted to contact RGP MLA Viresh Borkar and AAP leader Valmiki Naik on Wednesday, but both leaders were busy at the time.
“I called Viresh Borkar and Valmiki Naik on Wednesday, but they were busy. We will hold discussions over the next two days and take a decision,” Chodankar said.
On the possibility of an alliance with the Goa Forward Party, Chodankar said no discussions had been held with the party so far. However, he clarified that the option of joining hands with Goa Forward has not been ruled out.
