Bhoma villagers, backed by the local Panchayat, have opposed the proposed flyover in the village, making it clear that they are willing to accept a bypass road but not a flyover.
National Highway engineers visited Bhoma on Monday in compliance with a High Court order to explain and demonstrate the proposed alignment of the project. However, the visit failed to change the villagers’ stand, with residents remaining firm in their opposition to the flyover.
The villagers have maintained that a bypass would be a more acceptable solution and have urged the authorities to consider their concerns before proceeding with the proposed alignment.
