Police have arrested another inmate in connection with the alleged drug smuggling case at the Colvale Central Jail

Police have arrested another inmate in connection with the alleged drug smuggling case at the Colvale Central Jail.
The accused, Yogesh Mandrekar, was already lodged in Colvale Jail after being arrested earlier in a case under the Children’s Act. Following his arrest in the drug smuggling case, Mandrekar has been remanded to three days of police custody.
Earlier, GHRDC security guard Asha Chodankar and inmate Rovina Lobo were arrested in connection with the case.
