Residents and business owners from Anjuna and Caisua have submitted a formal complaint at the Anjuna Police Station, seeking immediate action against alleged illegal touting and harassment of tourists in the area.
The complainants have urged the police authorities to take necessary measures to address the issue, alleging that such activities are causing inconvenience to tourists as well as local residents and businesses.
They have called for effective enforcement to curb illegal touting and ensure that visitors to Anjuna can enjoy a safe and hassle-free experience.
The residents and business owners have also appealed to the authorities to take appropriate steps to maintain a secure and orderly environment for both tourists and the local community.
