Residents of Khorlim and Gaunsawada in Mapusa have raised concerns over the deteriorating condition of roads in their areas, alleging that repeated complaints have failed to bring any concrete action.

Locals said several stretches have developed potholes and become difficult to navigate, causing inconvenience to motorists and residents.

Speaking to the local media, residents questioned the continued delay in repairing and upgrading the roads and alleged that their elected representative has failed to address the issue.

Residents have urged the government to take immediate steps and complete the asphalting of the damaged roads without further delay.

They warned that if the authorities fail to act promptly, they will be forced to take further steps to press for repairs.
