The Karnataka Excise Department has seized around 400 litres of liquor spirit at the Chavki-Surla checkpost on the Goa-Karnataka border.
The spirit was allegedly being transported in a truck, concealed in cans and bottles.
In a separate operation, the Karnataka Excise Department also seized liquor worth around ₹17 lakh that was allegedly being transported from Goa to Dharwad.
