Students of Dr T B Cunha Higher Secondary School, Panaji, have urged the authorities to bring back their old teachers, expressing concern over the recent changes in teaching staff.

The students said newly appointed teachers may require at least a month to become familiar with the classes and students, which they fear could affect their academic preparation.

With second-term examinations scheduled for next month and preliminary examinations in December, students have raised concerns that the transition could disrupt classroom learning and leave them with limited time to prepare for the upcoming exams.

The students have appealed to the authorities to consider their concerns and retain the existing teachers, particularly during the crucial examination period.
