Goa Forward Party Chief Vijay Sardesai has launched a sharp attack on the BJP-led government over what he described as the worsening situation in the state’s education sector.
Sardesai questioned why students and teachers are being forced to take to the streets to raise their concerns, while the government is simultaneously bringing in new Bills to establish a new university and dilute existing guidelines.
He also pointed out that the issue concerning schools run by the Diocesan Society remains unresolved, questioning the government’s approach towards the institutions and their concerns.
“What exactly is happening in the education sector?” Sardesai questioned, taking aim at the ruling BJP over its handling of education-related issues.
