Goa BJP president Damu Naik on Wednesday said the party will call MLAs Babush Monserrate and Rudolf Fernandes for discussions after Monserrate inaugurated a BJP office in St Cruz without consulting the party.

Naik clarified that the BJP does not operate two party offices in the same constituency and said the leadership will resolve the issue through dialogue to maintain unity within the party.
On the upcoming 2027 Assembly elections, Naik said the BJP has a well-defined system for selecting candidates and that ticket distribution will be decided at the appropriate time through the party's established process.
He welcomed the enthusiasm among party workers to contest the elections and reiterated that the BJP's target is to win 30 Assembly seats.
