Sanguem, Quepem, and Priol assembly constituencies are almost confirmed to be reserved for the Scheduled Tribes (ST) community in Goa for the upcoming Assembly state election. However, a major political debate has erupted over the selection of the fourth constituency.

According to the data, Nuvem and Velim are the top two contenders for this fourth reserved seat, and local leaders from Nuvem are seen actively pushing their constituency to secure the reservation.

Local tribal leaders and political representatives have welcomed the proposed reservation, emphasizing that it will bring long overdue representation and benefit the community's overall development. While the final decision regarding the fourth constituency remains eagerly awaited, the political momentum surrounding ST reservation in the state continues to build up rapidly.
