A team of Goan students from Saraswat Higher Secondary School is set to represent India at the FIRST Global Challenge 2026 robotics competition in South Korea.

Team Tech Infinity will be among teams from 194 countries participating in the international robotics competition, giving the young innovators an opportunity to represent both Goa and India on the global stage.

The team comprises Anam Raza, Avneesh Fadte, Dhruv Salgaonkar, Soham Redkar and Sparsh Verlekar, all students of Saraswat Higher Secondary School.

Ahead of the international competition, the students demonstrated their robot before the Goa Governor and Chief Minister, showcasing the technology and innovation developed by the team.

The students' participation at the global competition is being seen as a proud moment for Goa, as they prepare to compete alongside teams from across the world.

The FIRST Global Challenge brings together student teams from different countries to compete in robotics while encouraging innovation, collaboration and problem-solving among young people.
