The Goa government has collected a total of ₹8.36 crore in house tax from industrial estates across the state between 2017 and 2025, Industries Minister Mauvin Godinho informed the Assembly. The collected amount is currently deposited in the government treasury, and efforts are underway to distribute the funds to the 21 concerned panchayats and four municipal councils, the minister said. The revenue was collected as house tax from industrial establishments during the period, with the government now working on transferring the amount to the respective local bodies.
