he Goa Cabinet has approved the allotment of 4,000 sq m of land at Curca to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for the construction of its office in the state, with the property valued at ₹10.80 crore.

The land, located at Survey No. 38/1-A, Curca, will be allotted by the Goa Housing Board at a rate of ₹27,000 per sq m.

The Cabinet has granted a special relaxation under the Goa Housing Board Rules, 2016, as the existing rules do not contain a provision for such an allotment. The government has also approved relaxation of Rule 18(1)(2) under Rule 20 to facilitate the execution of the Sale Deed in favour of the ED.

The ED had approached the authorities seeking land for construction of its office in Goa and subsequently conveyed its willingness to purchase the property. It also informed the authorities that the Revenue Department under the Ministry of Finance, Government of India, had approved the purchase.

The Goa Housing Board had earlier decided to allot the land during its 524th meeting held on June 27, 2025.
