The Congress has launched its ‘Goy Rakhonn Yatra’ from Ambedkar Park in Panaji, marking the beginning of a 27-day statewide outreach campaign ahead of the Assembly elections.

A large number of Congress workers participated in the opening programme. During the yatra, party leaders and workers are expected to travel across Goa and interact with residents to understand their concerns and hear about issues affecting local communities.

The yatra is scheduled to conclude on October 18. Senior national Congress leaders are also expected to participate in the campaign at different stages.

The party has said the initiative will provide an opportunity to engage directly with people across constituencies and take up issues raised by residents during the statewide tour.
