Congress has promised the people of Goa that, if voted to power in 2027, its first decision will be to repeal a certain Section of the TCP Act , while the proposed Karapur-Sarvan mega project will be scrapped within 30 minutes of forming the government.
The party said these commitments form part of its campaign message to Goans as it steps up its preparations for the 2027 Assembly elections.
Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao said AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge has given a clear call to the Goa Congress unit to defeat the BJP. He said the party is taking the message forward through its campaign, “Goye Vikpak Divchena ani BJPik Jikpak Divchena”
Alemao claimed that Congress will return to power in 2027 with 27 Assembly seats, while the BJP will be reduced to a single-digit tally.
He expressed confidence that Goans would give Congress the mandate to form the next government.
