The BJP leadership has reportedly advised the Goa unit to make efforts to bring back former party workers who have distanced themselves from the organisation and resolve differences with them to strengthen the party ahead of the elections.

According to sources, the advice was conveyed during the visit of the BJP national president, with the leadership stressing the need to consolidate the party at the grassroots level.

The leadership has also urged the Goa BJP to encourage women who have been actively working at the grassroots across various fields, recognising their potential role in the upcoming elections.

Women could emerge as game-changers in the electoral battle, the leadership reportedly emphasised, while calling on the state unit to identify, encourage and support women who have been contributing to their communities.
