The Bombay High Court at Goa has granted the Mormugao Municipal Council (MMC) two days to demolish the remaining portion of the illegal shed at Sada, popularly known as ‘Murgao Cha Raja’.
The direction came during the hearing of a contempt petition filed by the Mormugao Port Authority (MPA) in connection with the structure.
The MMC informed the High Court that a substantial portion of the shed had already been demolished. After taking note of the submission, the court granted the civic body two more days to complete the demolition of the remaining structure.
