Following a tragic accident on the Baina flyover on October 1st that resulted in two fatalities, MLA Krishna (Daji) Salkar, along with concerned department officials, conducted an urgent on site inspection of the flyover to evaluate existing road hazards. To prevent future casualties and ensure strict traffic compliance, authorities have announced a comprehensive safety upgrade for the elevated stretch.

As part of the upcoming safety measures, AI powered speed monitoring cameras will be installed along the flyover to penalize overspeeding, alongside strategically placed rumbler strips to force vehicles to slow down. Furthermore, to eliminate the risk of motorists falling off the flyover during collisions, high grade crash barriers will be erected along the outer sides.
