Union Home Minister Amit Shah said the Goa Police has taken a step ahead of other states by launching an AI-based call agent for the 1930 cyber fraud helpline. He said the service will strengthen efforts to protect citizens from cyber fraud and praised Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and the DGP for the initiative. • AAP Working President and Chinchinim-Deussua Sarpanch Gerson Gomes was allegedly attacked by Malcolm Pereira inside the panchayat office. A around 50-year-old five-storey building housing a boys' hostel collapsed in a congested bylane in Satya Niketan near Delhi University's South Campus on Sunday afternoon, leaving two students dead and many trapped, officials said.

Eight people have been pulled out of the debris so far, of whom one was brought dead to the hospital, another died during treatment. Five are critical, and one rescuer who received injuries was discharged, police said.
