A large quantity of sewage is reportedly overflowing outside Hospicio Hospital in Fatorda, triggering anger among local residents over the alleged lack of action by the local administration and Health Department.

Residents have questioned why the issue has not been addressed despite the sewage overflow occurring near a major hospital. They alleged that the authorities have failed to take timely action to resolve the problem.

Taking a swipe at Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai, who has been highlighting development works in the constituency, residents questioned, “Is this the development he is talking about?”

Locals have urged the concerned authorities to immediately address the sewage overflow and prevent the situation from posing further inconvenience or health concerns to patients, visitors and residents in the area.
