The special mutation camp in South Goa faced criticism from lawyers after some Mamlatdars and Joint Mamlatdars were reportedly absent, while clerks failed to bring the required files for processing cases.
Lawyers raised several issues during the camp and were assured that the pending work would be expedited. However, some lawyers expressed disappointment, describing the exercise as a “waste of time.”
In contrast, the special mutation drive in Panaji received appreciation from lawyers, who said all pending files had been cleared.
