In a move to speed up the disposal of pending land mutation cases, special camps will be held across North and South Goa on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 10 am to 5 pm.

The initiative aims to expedite the clearance of long-pending mutation applications and provide relief to property owners awaiting the completion of the process.

In North Goa, the Office of the District Collector has directed all Mamlatdars to remain present at their respective offices along with their staff and take necessary measures to dispose of the maximum possible number of pending cases.

The camps will be held at all Taluka Mamlatdar offices in the district, covering Pernem, Bardez, Tiswadi, Sattari and Bicholim. Additional Collectors have been appointed to oversee and monitor the camps in their respective jurisdictions.

In South Goa, the Office of the Collector and District Magistrate has also announced special mutation camps across the offices of Mamlatdars and Joint Mamlatdars in major talukas, including Salcete, Ponda and Mormugao.

According to the official notice, the initiative is intended to fast-track pending mutation cases. People with pending applications are encouraged to visit their respective taluka offices with the necessary supporting documents to facilitate the disposal of their cases.

Officials have been instructed to ensure maximum disposal of cases while following the applicable laws and statutory procedures.

Following the camps, North Goa Mamlatdars will be required to submit detailed compliance reports stating the number of cases taken up and disposed of, along with details of those remaining pending.
