South Goa Advocates' Association president Adv Antonio Clovis Da Costa has criticised the functioning of government officials, alleging that unnecessary demands are being made even when documents submitted by citizens are in order.
Speaking on Prudent's Head On Da Costa said that earlier, officials would point out errors in documents and expect applicants to rectify them. However, he alleged that the situation has now changed, with officials continuing to raise demands even when all documents are in order.
He further questioned the lack of action against allegedly inefficient officials, stating that despite complaints being filed and voices being raised against such practices, no concrete action is taken against those responsible.
