Goa Boat Owners Association President Jose Philip D'Souza has alleged that the Kharewado Jetty is being treated unfairly by the government.

D’Souza said that despite demands for repairs and maintenance of the jetty, no action has been taken so far.

He questioned the lack of response from the authorities and said that the concerns raised over the condition of the jetty have not been addressed.

The boat owners’ association has urged the government to take immediate steps towards repairing the jetty and addressing the difficulties faced by boat owners.
