Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has said that what is commonly referred to as the Adil Shah Palace was actually built by the Kadambas, highlighting Goa’s rich architectural heritage dating back centuries.
Speaking about the Koti Tirth project, Sawant said a permanent office for Koti Tirth has been established and that the historic Gopakapattana Port will also be developed.
He said the remains at the site showcase Goa’s architectural heritage from the 10th to the 14th century, challenging the commonly held attribution of the palace to Adil Shah.
Sawant further said the Koti Tirth Corridor project will be completed within one year.
