National General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party, B.L. Santhosh, chaired a series of crucial meetings with party ministers, MLAs, and the Core Group at the Goa BJP headquarters. During these two day deliberations attended alongside Goa Co-Organization Secretary Shivkumar and Co Incharge Anil Antony, Santhosh took stock of public sentiment across various issues and addressed internal party dynamics. A primary focus was the growing friction over multiple ticket aspirants in several constituencies, including Pernem, Aldona, Sanvordem, Curchorem, and Shiroda. B.L. Santhosh issued a stern warning: while individuals are free to work for the party on their own initiative, any anti-party activities targeting sitting MLAs or back door support for rebel candidates will not be tolerated.

The meetings also addressed inter-party coordination with the Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party. In response to concerns raised by certain MLAs regarding MGP's activities in their constituencies, Santhosh reiterated that the alliance with MGP remains firm, with final decisions on seat sharing to be determined by the central leadership. Additionally, the party emphasized greater representation for women in the upcoming elections. When a female MLA suggested raising the assistance under the Griha Aadhar scheme to Rs 3,000, the proposal met with a cautious response, indicating that only a realistic increment would be made. MLAs and ministers were strongly advised to improve ground connectivity and ensure government development projects and welfare schemes reach the public effectively.

Following the legislative meeting, the BJP Core Group convened to discuss key socio-political matters impacting the state, including mining, water supply, the Mhadei river dispute, tourism, land policies, environmental concerns, language debates, employment, and ST reservation impacts. To assess the potential electoral impact of these issues objectively, two to four specialized committees comprising non MLA party members have been formed. These committees will gather feedback on the ground, and their findings will form the basis for discussion in upcoming party meetings.
