Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant on Thursday said the Goa government is integrating technology, skill development and government welfare schemes to realise the vision of Swayampurna Goa and Viksit Bharat @2047.


Addressing a District Level Panch Sammelan, Sawant urged panchayats to prepare and implement development projects that directly improve the lives of people and contribute to the state's overall progress.


The Chief Minister also announced that the Rural Development (RD) Department will recognise and reward panchayats that execute outstanding development projects, encouraging healthy competition and innovation in local governance.


During the conference, Sawant interacted with panchayat representatives and discussed measures to strengthen grassroots governance, improve public service delivery and accelerate rural development across Goa.


He reiterated the government's commitment to empowering panchayats and ensuring that development reaches every village through effective planning and implementation.
