Bhandari Samaj Leaders Seek Statue of Late Ravi Naik Along Ponda Highway

Bhandari Samaj leaders, including former MLAs Kiran Kandolkar and Dayanand Mandrekar, met PWD Minister Digambar Kamat to discuss a proposal to install a statue of late Bhandari Samaj leader and former minister Ravi Naik along the national highway at Ponda.

Speaking after the meeting, Dayanand Mandrekar said the leaders have requested that the statue be installed on October 14, the death anniversary of late Ravi Naik.

Mandrekar added that the draft proposal letter will be submitted to PWD Minister Digambar Kamat on Monday.
The leaders said the proposed statue would honour Ravi Naik’s contribution and legacy in Goa’s public life.
