Two women, a mother and daughter, were injured after an LPG gas leak reportedly triggered a fire followed by a blast at a shop-cum-room near the Last Bus Stop at New Vaddem.

The incident caused panic in the area, with the two women sustaining injuries in the blast. They were immediately shifted to Goa Medical College (GMC) Hospital for treatment.

Police and fire personnel rushed to the spot following the incident and took necessary action.
