The installation of the footbridge at Bambolim, scheduled for early Sunday morning, has been postponed to next Sunday due to technical issues encountered during the lifting operation.

The team attempted to lift the footbridge and position it on the supporting pillars but halted the operation after deflection was observed in the rings, preventing the structure from being placed as planned.

The rings will now be resized over the next two days, following which the installation is expected to resume next Sunday.

The postponement delays the planned work on the footbridge, with the next lifting attempt scheduled after the necessary technical corrections are completed.
