Devotees of Shree Swami Samarth gathered at Anjuna Police Station and submitted a complaint over alleged derogatory remarks made against the revered saint, demanding strict legal action against those responsible.

The devotees urged the police to take immediate action while appealing to the public to maintain peace and communal harmony.

Speaking to the media, Shree Swami Samarth Math President Nilesh Vernekar warned that if those responsible for defaming Shree Swami Samarth are not arrested within the next eight days, devotees will stage a protest march to the police station.

"We have faith in the police and expect appropriate action. However, if no arrests are made within eight days, devotees will be left with no option but to march to the police station in protest," Vernekar said.
