A suspected LPG cylinder blast triggered a major fire at a rented house in Muslimwada, Bhoma, on Sunday evening, leaving the property severely damaged and belongings worth an estimated ₹10–12 lakh lost.

The house belongs to Ravi Bote and was occupied by tenant Govind Shrivastava. A fire brigade team from the Kundaim sub-fire station responded to the emergency and extinguished the flames.

Bhoma-Adcolna Sarpanch Abdul Khan said Shrivastava had estimated substantial losses, with gold ornaments, cash, clothing and household equipment among the items destroyed in the blaze.

Khan added that the panchayat talathi was expected to visit the site on Monday to evaluate the damage and prepare an assessment.
