A shocking incident occurred in Rive, Sattari, where a driver and conductor working for the Kadamba Transport Corporation (KTC) were attacked with a koyta. The targeted attack took place two days ago while the crew members were resting overnight at a local temple site. According to the employees, two local residents attempted to steal cash from the conductor's bag.

When the staff confronted the intruders, the suspects turned violent and attacked them with a koyta. To save their lives, the driver and conductor quickly fled and took shelter inside the Kadamba bus before alerting the police about the incident. Following the traumatic incident, the staff members have filed an official police complaint, demanding swift and strict legal action against the culprits. Shaken by the violence, Kadamba employees have stated that they will no longer stay overnight in the village due to safety concerns.
