A football ground in Old Goa witnessed a violent confrontation between two groups following a football match, leaving one person injured in an alleged knife attack.

According to reports, tensions had emerged between the groups during the match but were brought under control at the time. However, shortly after the game ended, the groups reportedly confronted each other again.

During the ensuing clash, one person allegedly used a knife and injured another individual.

Police have registered an FIR and arrested four persons in connection with the incident.
