Air India Express will resume its Goa (Dabolim)–Dubai service from August 2, 2026, marking the restoration of a key international route after temporary disruptions caused by regional airspace restrictions in the Middle East.
The airline will operate flights between Dabolim International Airport in South Goa and Dubai International Airport Terminal 2, reconnecting Goa with one of its busiest overseas destinations for tourists, business travellers and the expatriate community.
The resumption comes as Air India Express gradually restores connectivity across its West Asia network following the easing of temporary regional airspace disruptions.
As part of the phased restoration, flights on the Kozhikode–Salalah route resumed on July 2, while Kozhikode–Kuwait services restart from July 3. The airline has also reinstated flights between Muscat and Mangaluru from July 3.
Additionally, Bengaluru–Kuwait services will resume from July 4, initially operating once a week, with frequencies set to increase in phases over the coming days based on operational requirements.
The restoration of the Goa–Dubai route is expected to provide a significant boost to international travel from the state, particularly benefiting passengers travelling to the UAE for work, tourism and family visits. Dubai remains one of the most sought-after international destinations for travellers from Goa.
The airline had earlier adjusted several West Asia operations due to temporary airspace disruptions in the region. With conditions improving, Air India Express is progressively reinstating its international schedule across multiple Gulf destinations.
The Goa–Dubai service is scheduled to operate from August 2, restoring direct connectivity between South Goa and the UAE after the temporary suspension.
