CogniFilm and Comiqly, two AI-powered platforms bringing together filmmaking, comics, animation and digital storytelling launched in Goa in the hands of Minister for Information Technology, Electronics & Communications, Tourism, Printing & Stationery, Rohan A. Khaunte, launched. Developed by TAWAI STUDIO, the platforms enable creators to develop, publish and distribute AI-powered content for audiences worldwide, adding to Goa’s growing ecosystem of startups and creative technology.

The launch reflects Goa’s growing emergence as a hub where technology, entrepreneurship and creativity come together. With a strong creative community, an expanding startup ecosystem and a growing focus on emerging technologies, the State is creating opportunities for companies and creators to develop globally relevant products from Goa.

Developed by TAWAI STUDIO, CogniFilm is a web-based micro-OTT platform that enables creators to showcase AI-generated films, short-form series and audio content to audiences worldwide. The platform provides a dedicated space for creators to publish and distribute AI-native cinematic content, while offering viewers access to a curated catalogue of AI-powered entertainment.

Alongside CogniFilm, Comiqly is an AI-powered platform that enables creators to develop and publish comics, cartoons and animated stories using AI-assisted tools. The platform aims to make comic creation more accessible while enabling creators to develop animated episodic content for global audiences.

The launch also has a strong Goan connection, with TAWAI STUDIO Co-founder Ujwala Jadhav Nhivekar, who hails from Goa, representing the growing pool of Goan talent contributing to technology and creative innovation.
