Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao said his sole focus is on defeating the BJP in Goa in the upcoming Assembly elections. Alemao declined to comment on the AAP–Goa Forward Party alliance.  •  The Murgaoncho Raja Mandap at Sada was dismantled by the committee under the supervision of Mormugao Municipal Council officials. The process was completed peacefully, with civic officials monitoring the removal and ensuring there were no untoward incidents.  •  High Court has adjourned the hearing for Tuesday on St. Cruz resident Paresh Salgaonkar's petition challenging non-inclusion of names in electoral roll post SIR  •  Sources indicate Rahul Gandhi is likely to visit Goa on October 12, 2026, for the Goa Rakhon Yatra. Don’t let them cheat you the third time“ have reportedly disappeared from their locations across Goa. The hoardings have gone blank after GFP pressed for Grand Alliance with Congress while AAP stressed on non-Congress, non-BJP alliance  •  FLY91 begins operations from Navi Mumbai International Airport with direct flights to Mopa-Goa, alongside Sindhudurg, Jalgaon and Agatti.
