About this episode

"What happens when an archaeologist trades textbooks for temple trails, and a software engineer swaps screens for soil? You get a story rooted in heritage, grown with passion, and nurtured by purpose." On today’s episode of Swaad Aswaad, we bring you a tale of two dreamers—Sawani Shetye Malik and Chaitanya Malik—a power couple who gave up city life and corporate careers to return to their roots in Hasapur, Pernem. Sawani, with her deep love for India’s civilisational heritage, is helping people rediscover the real Goa—not the postcard version, but one filled with ancient temples, forgotten legends, and vibrant local culture. And Chaitanya? He’s turned his ancestral land into a thriving green haven—Dr. Malik’s Farm—where cows, crops, and community come together in harmony. From 15 litres of milk a day to 150, and from barren land to a living, breathing agro-tourism retreat, his journey is a masterclass in vision and resilience. Together, they’re not just growing food or leading tours—they’re cultivating a movement. In this episode, Sawani delights us with a zesty Lemon Chutney, while Chaitanya whips up a flavourful Bamboo Shoot Fry. Swaad Aswaad continues to celebrate food, stories, and spiritual flavours—with a twist! #SwaadAswaad #SawaniShetyeMalik #Archaeologist #ChaitanyaMalik #SoftwareEngineer #Art #Film # LemonChutney #BambooShootFry #GoanDish #Chef #ChefSkills #GoanArtist #Food #Foodie #CelebrityCooking #GoaCelebrities #CookingWithCelebrities #NewSeasonSwaadAswaad #FoodieCelebrities #GoanCuisine #CelebratingGoa #SwaadAswaadPrudent #CookeingShows #Cookery #Cooking #Dishes #vegdishes #nonvegdishes #nonvegrecipe #vegrecipe
