Bitan Singh emerged victorious in the sixth edition of Ironman 70.3 Goa, clocking an impressive timing of 4 hours, 24 minutes and 26 seconds.

The international sporting event witnessed participation from nearly 2,000 athletes representing around 68 countries, further strengthening Goa’s position on the global sporting and tourism map.

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said Ironman 70.3 Goa has been contributing significantly to the state's tourism sector while also promoting infrastructure development, cleanliness and Goa’s identity as a leading sports destination.

Thanking the Indian and international participants, as well as the organisers for successfully conducting the event, Sawant assured that the government would continue extending its support to ensure the event is organised in Goa in the coming years.

Highlighting his association with the event, the Chief Minister said he has been flagging off and supporting Ironman Goa for the past six years. Expressing confidence about the BJP returning to power for a third consecutive term, Sawant said he would flag off the event again next year after becoming Chief Minister for the third time.
